The applicant has noted additional units will satisfy the strong demand for <br />units and create operational efficiencies. The change in the number of units will fit within the <br />approved building footprint. The proposed changes do not impact the building height or building <br />elevations. The table below identifies the changes: <br /> Approved Plan Proposed Changes <br />Building Area 192,390 square feet 196,801 square feet <br />Assisted Living Units 113 120 <br />Memory Care Units 33 29 <br />Total Units 146 149 <br />Density 20 units/acre 22 units/acre <br />A more detailed description of the proposed changes is in Attachment A <br />Dwelling Units <br />The Applicant is requesting to increase the total number of units from 146 to 149, which includes <br />120 assisted living and 29 memory care units. To accommodate the additional units within the <br />existing building footprint, the applicant is reconfiguring space within the building. A breakdown <br />of the changes by floor is outlined below: <br />First Floor: <br />x The pool/wellness center is being relocated to the garage level.
