Boundary and Topographic Survey – COMPANY will complete a topographic <br />survey of the park sites and surrounding drainage and appropriate roadway and <br />trail infrastructure. Elevations will be referenced to local benchmarks. These <br />services will be coordinated with the CLIENT and the adjacent property manager. <br /> <br />b. Boundary and Topographic Drawing – Final drafting to be completed with <br />existing visible improvements on subject property shown. The drawing will be <br />completed and will be used as the base map for the project. Because the final <br />drawing will be incorporated into the engineering plans, a Topographic Survey <br />Plat is not included within this proposal. <br /> <br />2. Public Involvement <br /> <br />a. COMPANY will prepare signage and web based tools for the public to use to <br />provide input on the park amenities and improvements provided in the grant <br />application. <br /> <br />b. COMPANY will collect interactive feedback and develop ideas and options for the <br />park site improvements. COMPANY will conduct an open house meeting (virtual <br />or in-person) for with the CLIENT for the local community. The open house <br />meetings will be held at the Arden Hills City Hall site. <br /> <br />3. Conceptual Park Design & Layout <br /> <br />a. COMPANY will prepare a grant application for Rice Creek Watershed District <br />funding for the Arden Manor Park site. This includes completion of a conceptual <br />plan of drainage improvements (1 title sheet and 2 plan sheets maximum) and <br />the application form. <br /> <br />b. Using the CDBG grant application Arden Manor Park layout plan as a general <br />guide, and gaining input from the CLIENT and community, COMPANY will <br />develop an updated conceptual park layout. All features that were part of the <br />approved application will be featured in this conceptual design. Current site <br />topography and other existing conditions will be considered in this phase of <br />design. <br /> <br />c. Company will comply with CBDG processes in completing a NEPA checklist to <br />evaluate the significance of the effects of the proposal on the character, features <br />and resources of the project area. <br /> <br />d. For Floral Park, COMPANY will prepare a conceptual park layout plan based on <br />the existing conditions and community involvement input. <br /> <br />e. COMPANY will provide a general review of the estimated costs included in the <br />grant application and the City CIP cost estimates, update them based on the <br />selected features and improvements determined by the public involvement <br />process, conceptual design and recent bid summary information.
