• 1. The City of Brooklyn Park will deed to the Minnesota State Armory <br /> Building Commission the following described real estate which has been purchased <br /> by the City as a part of its park bond issue: <br /> That part of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter <br /> and the West Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section <br /> 16, Township 119, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows: <br /> Commencing at the southwest corner of said East Half of the Southeast <br /> Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence northerly 359 degrees 47 <br /> minutes 02 seconds, assumed azimuth from north, 656.00 feet along <br /> the west line of said East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the South- <br /> west Quarter; thence easterly, 089 degrees 47 minutes 02 seconds <br /> azimuth, 508.00 feet, to a point herein after referred to as Point <br /> A; thence continuing easterly, 089 degrees 47 minutes 02 seconds <br /> azimuth, 374.46 feet to the west line of the east 100.00 feet of <br /> said West Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, <br /> said point being the beginning of the land herein described; thence + <br /> westerly 269 degrees 47 minutes 02 seconds azimuth, 374.46 feet to <br /> Point A; thence northerly 359 degrees 47 minutes 02 seconds azimuth, <br /> 320.00 feet; thence easterly 089 degrees 47 minutes 02 seconds azi- <br /> muth, 474.06 feet to the east line of said West Quarter of the <br /> Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence southerly 179 <br /> degrees 42 minutes 42 seconds azimuth along said east line, 963.69 <br /> feet to the south line of said West 1/4. of the Southwest Quarter <br /> . of the Southeast Quarter; thence westerly 268 degrees 37 minutes <br /> 46 seconds azimuth along said south line, 100.02 feet to the west <br /> line of the east 100.00 feet of said West Quarter of the Southwest <br /> Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence northerly 359 degrees 42 <br /> minutes 42 seconds azimuth 645.70 feet, along said west line to the <br /> point of beginning. <br /> Containing approximately 216,233 square feet, 20088.7 square meters, or 4.964 <br /> acres. <br /> Subject to roadway easement over the south 60.00 feet of said east 100.00 <br /> feet of the West Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter. <br /> This conveyance shall be pursuant to authority granted the City under Minnesota <br /> Statutes 193. 144. The conveyance shall be conditioned on the Armory Commission <br /> constructing an armory and using it for national guard purposes - if the armory <br /> is not constructed the land shall revert to the City of Brooklyn Park. <br /> 2. The armory shall be constructed in accordance with the concept of <br /> the master plan developed by Bennett, Ringrose, Wolsfeld, Gradner, Inc. , dated <br /> March 22, 1982. <br /> 3. The City shall have input in the design of the Armory. The City's <br /> authority shall , however, be limited to local Building Code issues, and the <br /> compatibility of the building exterior with the remainder of the City's <br /> Community Activities Building. <br /> • <br /> -2- <br />
