The team we propose for the 2024 PMP Street and Utilities <br />Improvement project has this experience. We have provided a brief background and description of key individual roles. These individuals have track records of <br />successful projects and, just as importantly, are enthusiastic and committed to meeting and exceeding your expectations. <br />MIKE WALTMAN, PE <br />Principal -in -Charge <br />Mike has the qualifications, experience, motivation, <br />and work ethic to effectively manage and coordinate <br />each project phase. Mike will provide close <br />coordination with the City of Arden Hills and project <br />partners. He will be responsible for overall team <br />management, monitoring progress, schedule, and budget to ensure critical <br />issues are promptly addressed. <br />Mike began his engineering career in 2006. Stemming from eight years of <br />construction inspection experience early in his career, Mike manages municipal <br />infrastructure projects and supports cities in pursuit of their goals. His expertise <br />includes capital improvement planning, project programming, funding, conceptual <br />design, feasibility reports, completing final design, and construction oversight. <br />He has a passion for effectively managing all aspects of project budgets, <br />from pursuing grant opportunities to administering projects to meet funding <br />requirements, large and small. <br />Mike's goal is client satisfaction, and he works hard to make that happen <br />Mike is constantly responsive and makes his clients a priority in daily <br />operations. <br />BRAD FISHER, PE <br />Project Manager <br />Brad will oversee the project team and manage <br />overall project delivery. He will establish and <br />maintain communication with city staff so the City <br />of Arden Hill's needs are met during design and <br />construction. Brad will also lead project design, <br />focusing on quality control and quality assurance, and guide the plan and <br />specification preparation. <br />Brad is a project engineer beginning his career with Bolton & Menk in 2014. He <br />has worked on many municipal projects consisting of roadway design, including <br />municipal state aid design and utilities such as sanitary sewer, water main, <br />and storm sewer. Brad is passionate about listening to his client's needs and <br />delivering their vision. He completes project planning, design, and preparation of <br />construction plans and specifications. His design experience includes preliminary <br />and final design, preliminary layout and design, preparation of feasibility reports, <br />preparation of construction plans and specifications, preparation of quantity <br />take -offs and cost estimates, and project documentation. In addition to his <br />design experience, Brad has experience providing construction inspection and <br />documentation services on various projects. He has significant experience in <br />the evaluation of concrete pavement, determination of rehabilitation feasibility, <br />and the implementation of concrete pavement rehabilitation (CPR) methods and <br />repairs. <br />Approach to Scope of Services <br />The City of Arden Hills can be assured the Bolton & Menk team will provide outstanding technical deliverables, exceptional leadership in public and <br />stakeholder involvement, and superior project management in a timely and cost-effective manner. The detailed work plan below is outlined by tasks <br />addressing all elements of the RFP. <br />Task 1: Project Coordination <br />Bolton & Menk will designate Brad Fisher as the project manager <br />to provide a single point of contact throughout the duration of the project. <br />We will attend and coordinate the necessary meetings with city staff, as laid <br />out in the included project schedule and as follows. We will also attend and <br />participate in up to five city council meetings or work sessions, as required <br />for the project, to present project information. <br />City Staff Project Kickoff Meetings and Design <br />Coordination Meetings. Bolton & Menk will conduct a feasibility <br />kickoff meeting and a design kickoff meeting with city staff. At the <br />meetings, we intend to revisit our project understanding and outline our <br />approach to meeting the city's project goals and determine any necessary <br />initial meetings with other governing agencies. We will prepare to lead with <br />the city's vision during discussion with these agencies. <br />
