<br />I <br />.. <br />. <br />. <br />. <br />I <br />I <br />. <br />I <br />.e <br />I <br />. <br />I <br />I <br />. <br />I <br />. <br />.e <br />. <br /> <br />,ARD-EN HILLS CITY COUNCil. - FEBRUARY 27. 1995 <br /> <br />4; <br /> <br />Mr. Paul Wallace 1779 West County Road F, wished to clarify for Mr. Woo, in order to <br />establish room for the walkway the City would have to cover the ditch on Mr. Woo's property. <br />Mr. Stonehouse indicated the street will be cut slightly and the ditch filled, so the drainage can <br />flow onto the street and away from Mr. Woo's property. Mr. Stonehouse indicated he also will <br />clarify any questions Mr. Woo has after the meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Craig Wilson of 1677 West County Road F, also indicated concern for the traffic and speed <br />limit and the safety of his children. <br /> <br />Mr. Wilson inquired if the three lanes would only be in front of the high school. Mr. Stonehouse <br />indicated that was correct. Mr. Wilson was concerned with a flat wide road turning into a <br />raceway, he noted several incidents were accidents occurred. <br /> <br />Mr. Wilson inquired regarding the storm sewer, and will it affect the drainage of the properties <br />on the north side of County Road F. Mr. Stonehouse indicated it would not affect those <br />properties. <br /> <br />Mr. Paul Wallace of 1779 West County Road F, indicated deep concern also for the speed and <br />traffic on the road. <br /> <br />Mr. Wallace indicated the assessments will be made to 29 homes, that are not generating the <br />majority of the traffic. Mr. Wallace indicated the bus company on the average would generate <br />68,000 trips per year and the homes generate 15,000 trips per year. He felt this was a unique <br />situation for the residents and that should be taken into consideration when the assessments are <br />made. <br /> <br />Mr. Wallace inquired as to the water main and if it is rerouted, would his property be affected. <br />Mr. Stonehouse indicated all work will be done within the road right of way. Mr. Wallace's <br />property will be affected up to the road right-of-way. <br /> <br />Mr. Wallace inquired if during construction would the road be restricted to residents only. Mr. <br />Stonehouse indicated that would be correct. Mr. Wallace inquired if summer classes, and the <br />traffic generated from this would be rerouted. Mr. Stonehouse indicated that would be possible. <br /> <br />Mr. Wallace indicated concern for a intersection near the hill. <br /> <br />Mr. Stenglein inquired what the process for reviewing the speed of the traffic for the street. Mr. <br />Winkel indicated the City would have to make a request to the State for a traffic study. Mr. <br />Stenglein inquired if the City could start the process for this review. He also inquired as to the <br />process of changing the street name. <br />
