We have the following understanding of the current status of the project: • Some field changes, installed elevations of the playground and draintile to better match the surrounding grade for example, were completed during construction and vary from what is shown on the plan drawings. • The majority of the current project's construction is substantially complete with the exception of placement of the playground equipment (which was to be completed by others), and placement of the playground wood -chip surfacing. • The current athletic court, and fencing, remains in place. • Services related to construction administration and closeout of the current contract are being completed by others, and BMI's proposed scope will be separate from that work, including administration of the current CDBG grant. • We assume our team will be provided to digital CAD proposed condition and preconstruction condition files, and generally all electronic files used to design the project, which were generated for the project by the previous consultant team. • We assume work associated with BMI's scope of work will be bid as a standalone project, and not included as a change -order to the current project. We assume this related to a successful CDBG grant, which we assume will require its own unique competitive bidding and award process for grant compliance. If this is not the case and a change order can re -instate the athletic court to the original contract however, we do not anticipate a substantial change to our budget.
