She indicated the development would shrink <br />the wildlife population, and encouraged the preservation of the wildlife. <br /> <br />Mr. Dan Ogren, the applicant, indicated he is not asking for any special favors regarding this <br />development. He indicated those interested in the open space have not yet approached him directly <br />to work on this situation. <br /> <br />Mr. Ogren feels the development will be approved, after all reviews have been made. <br /> <br />Mr. Ogren indicated electronic monitoring will be established to define wetlands. <br /> <br />Mr. Ogren indicated he has met with a landscape architect, 70 trees will be added to the site. He <br />indicated they are trying to reduce hard surface on the site with narrower streets. <br /> <br />Mr. Ogren indicated based on title work that has been done, there is not currently a County easement <br />established regarding the trail, at least it has not appeared in the title work. <br /> <br />Mr. Ogren indicated in reviewing the possibility of single family homes, he established there would <br />be 12 homes on the site, and most likely the homes would be two story homes with full walkouts. <br />He noted the two story homes would have much more impact on the neighborhood, than the <br />townhomes currently proposed. <br /> <br />Mr. Ogren apologized if any thing he has said has been interpreted as threatening, he does not wish <br />to appear to be threatening. <br /> <br />Mr. Ogren indicated for the record he had no special favors in acquiring this property, he approached <br />Bethel College in regards to the purchase of the land. He sought out Bethel College and he does <br />not personally know the college president. <br /> <br />Mr. Chapin of 3947 Rolling Hills Road, encouraged the Council to request a copy of the purchase <br />agreement held between Bethel College and Mr. Ogren, to show credible property interest. He <br />indicated only one parcel in IUlder the purchase agreement and there is a 1.62 acre parcel that is not <br />IUlder a purchase agreement. <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Eha of3898 Dellview, indicated the townhomes are not consistent with the neighborhood, <br />and would not be desirable. <br /> <br />Mr. Pershan Franklin of 1823 Gramsie Road, indicated concern for the traffic during construction <br />work. <br />
