She noted Bethel is seeking also the best possible solution to this dilemma. <br /> <br />Mr. Joseph L. V odonik oU723 Glenview Avenue, indicated in the 1950's this area was a wetland <br />were ducks nested and this is not the case now, due to development of the area <br /> <br />Mayor Probst indicated there are two options, the COlUlCil may continue the Public Hearing, or close <br />it and set a second hearing in the future. Council concurred to set a second Public Hearing in the <br />future. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst closed the Public Hearing at 9: 12 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst informed the audience that the second Public Hearing will most likely be held in May <br />after actions by the Rice Creek Watershed District and results of the EA W petition. He wished to <br />personally thank the audience for being cordial in their participation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Malone inquired as to a timetable regarding the PUD request. City Adrnini>:trator <br />Fritsinger indicated the City has 60 days. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hicks inquired if there would be a hold during the period of review of the EA W <br />petition. City Attorney Filla believed there would be a stay pending actions regarding the EA W, the <br />time would start again once a decision is reached regarding the ordering of the EA W. <br /> <br />Mr. Ogren felt the study is redundant and perhaps just a stall. He requested the Council take action <br />on ordering of the EA W by their April 1 0, 1995 meeting. <br /> <br />City Administrator Fritsinger indicated concern if an EA W is done, would the time frame be <br />extended.. City Attorney Filla indicated perhaps if the 45 days expire, the City Council could deny <br />on the basis of insufficient information. <br /> <br />PLANNING CASE #95-12 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT PUBLIC RRARTNG <br /> <br />Mayor Probst opened the Public Hearing at 9:21 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst inquired if proper notification of the Public Hearing could be verified. City <br />Administrator Fritsinger noted this was publicized on March 14 and 21, 1995 in the Focus. <br /> <br />City Administrator Fritsinger briefly reviewed the amendment. He indicated that in regards to the <br />previous site location, it is designated on the Land Use Plan Map as Park and Open Space, and on <br />the Park and Open Space Plan map it does not designate the easterly parcel as existing Park and <br />Open Space nor does it identify the parcel as proposed Park and Open Space. <br />
