<br />I <br />I. <br />. <br />. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />. <br />I <br />.- <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />.e <br />I <br /> <br />,ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - JULY 31. 1995 <br /> <br />13 <br />, <br /> <br />MOTION: Keim moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to adopt Resolution 95-58, <br />Accepting Bids and Autl10rizing Execution of Contract for the Perry Park <br />Redevelopment witl1 tl1e additions of Alternate 6.0, 7.0 and 7.1 with an estimate cost <br />of$362,000 and subject to tl1e review and approval oftl1e City Attorney. The motion <br />carried lImmimously (3-0). <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski commended the Parks Department and Parks Committee for all the <br />hard work and efforts in raising the funds for tl1e redevelopment of tl1e Park and obtaining all the <br />information tl1e City Council requested. She indicated the Council appreciates tl1ese efforts. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst also wished to thank Ms. Walsh and Ms. Ricke for all tl1eir efforts, and indicated he <br />was amazed at tl1e accomplishment of obtaining 50% of the funding from donations. Mayor Probst <br />thanked tl1e Parks Department and Parks Committee on behalf of tl1e City Council for all tl1eir <br />efforts. <br /> <br />Stowe Avenue Change Order <br /> <br />City Engineer Stonehouse briefly reviewed tl1e change order request. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Aplikowski moved and Keim seconded a motion to approve Change Order #1 for <br />Stowe Avenue. The motion carried unanimously (3-0). <br /> <br />Construction Update <br /> <br />County Road F <br /> <br />City Engineer Stonehouse indicated there is continued improvement with the construction on County <br />Road F and noted tl1e contractor is trying to improve communication witl1 tl1e neighbors. <br /> <br />Mr. Stonehouse noted the contractor will be installing the sanitary sewer extension to Mounds View <br />High School and should have all underground work completed by Wednesday, August 2, 1995. <br /> <br />Mr. Stonehouse stated tl1e phone company has completed relocations and tl1e gas company is <br />continuing with the replacement of tl1e 8 inch steel main up to the vicinity of tl1e high school parking <br />lot. <br /> <br />1995 Street Maintenance Project <br /> <br />Mr. Stonehouse noted tl1e seal coating and overlaying will begin on or about August 14. The Stowe <br />Avenue storm sewer construction will begin this week at Lake Johanna Boulevard. <br />
