The
motion carried unanimously (5-0).

TCAAP U:pdate

City Administrator Fritsinger presented the Council with a plan developed by the TCMP Task
Force. He noted the Town Center approach with single family homes, golf course, open space and
multiple family homes near the freeway.

Mr. Fritsinger noted the open space would be buffered by a golf course from the development.
There will be a sports complex covering 72 acres and park with 29 acres.

Mr. Fritsinger indicated the process is now to work with Congressman Vento's Reutilization
Committee and present this plan to them at the September 9th meeting. Mr. Fritsinger noted, at
some time in the future, the Task Force will come before the Council for formal approval of the
plan.

Mayor Probst indicated he is very pleased with the plan. He noted the Task Force developed the
plan, and is very hopeful for a positive response from the Reutilization Committee.

Councilmember Malone believed the Task Force had addressed all the various concerns.

County Road F Stop Sil!D

Public Works Superintendent Stafford noted that residents of County Road F had previously
requested a study of stop signs and the posted speed on County Road F. With the County Road F
project nearing completion, the Public Safety Committee has considered these requests as they may
apply to current City policy.

Mr. Stafford indicated the Safety Committee recommends:

1. The placing of a three-way stop sign at the intersection of Fairview and County Road F
as per the City of Arden Hills Traffic Sign Policy.

2. Conduct a traffic study to evaluate the need of change to County Road F speed limits to
30 M.P.H.
