Staff offered to <br />add to II.B. i., The requesting party will be advised in <br />writing of the decision within four (4) weeks. This was <br />agreeable with Councilmember Aplikowski and Mr. Roessler. <br /> <br />Councilmember Probst noted that under II.B.ii, the <br />determination may be appealed to the public Works/Safety <br />Committee, in lieu of, the City Administrator. He <br />further suggested to add a new "iii", Upon the <br />determination and decision of the Public Works <br />Superintendent, to take the decision to the Public <br />Works/Safety Committee for their concurrence and proceed <br />from that point. <br /> <br />Councilmember Malone suggested that this policy be <br />extended to include any type traffic control devices <br />beyond stop signs, ie: Children Playing. Council <br />concurred. <br /> <br />Discussion followed and Council concurred to have the <br />Public Works/Safety Committee and staff bring back to <br />Council the final draft of the proposed policy with <br />consideration of the changes as noted. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION TO <br />ACCEPT SHEEHY LAND DONATION. <br /> <br />Park & Recreation Director Cindy Severtson referred to <br />memos from Fritsinger and herself provided in the packet <br />outlining her recommendation to accept the land donation <br />and stated she had nothing further to note at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger noted that staff had contacted the City <br />Attorney and the City Attorney is having a difficult time <br />reaching the Sheehys. <br /> <br />Councilmember Probst commented that as a safety issue, <br />the tennis court may have to be removed. Mr. Sheehy had <br />no problem with our intentions to do so, however, it is <br />recommended to leave the pad of the court intact. This <br />would allow some type of possible future development in <br />this area. <br /> <br />Mr. Fritsinger stated there is a question regarding the <br />Certificate of Title. <br /> <br />Councilmember Malone suggested a dollar amount be <br />designated for any filing fees. If there would be a <br />problem with the Certificate of Title and a Quit Claim <br />would not be possible, a dollar amount should be noted. <br />Discussion followed and Council concurred a <br />
