SHERIFF'S ENTRY <br />TEAM DEMONSTRATION <br /> <br />however. due to the <br /> <br />Councilmember Hansen reported on the Ramsey County <br />"Entry" team demonstration held at the St. Paul Court <br />House. She advised it was an interesting experience, <br />time schedule it was not as well attended as anticipated. <br /> <br />Councilmember Winiecki suggested the Sheriff's department could schedule the next <br />demonstration during the evening hours in order to increase attendance. <br /> <br />NO. SNELLING PK. NAME Council diacussed procedurea for naming North Snelling <br />Park; it was suggested that the Park Committee consider <br />names, input be solicited or a contest be initiated. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peck recommended the park be named "McNiesh Park", to honor the <br />former Clerk Administrator for her years of service with the City. Councilmember <br />Hansen supported the recommendation. <br /> <br />SUB-COMM. FOR <br />FIRE BUDGET STUDY <br /> <br />Mayor Woodburn questioned if a subcommittee of the <br />Finance Committee had been appointed to study the LJVFD <br />Budget; McNiesh advised this was accomplished at the last <br />meeting held in May. <br /> <br />Finance Committee <br /> <br />GEESE REMOVAL <br /> <br />Mayor Woodburn advised the opinions received from <br />residents, relative to removal of the geese were evenly <br />and opposed. He recommended no further action be taken on this <br />concurred with the Mayor's recommendation. <br /> <br />split in favor <br />matter. Council <br /> <br />Hansen reported that Dr. Cooper had advised he could not schedule the removal of <br />the geese this year. <br /> <br />BOAT TRAVEL; LAKE <br />JOSEPHINE <br /> <br />matter. Council <br /> <br />Mayor Woodburn reported that the City of Roseville did <br />not favor the counter-clockwise boat travel suggested for <br />Lake Josephine; he recommended no further action on this <br />concurred with the Mayor's recommendation. <br /> <br />REPORT OF CLERK ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />RES. #88-14 & 88-15; <br />REAPPORTION. ASSMENTS <br /> <br />.2!!::l. <br />Sewer <br /> <br />Hansen moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve <br />Resolution No. 88-14, Apportionment of Assessments <br />Relating to Consolidated Water Improvements Nos. 68-2 and <br />and Resolution No. 88-15. Apportionment of Assessments Relating to Sanitary <br />Improvement No. 14. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />TEMP. SIGN PERMIT; <br />POT 0 GOLD HALL <br /> <br />Council was advised by McNiesh that the applicant had <br />requested the dates for the temporary sign permit be <br />changed to June 8 thru 18, 1988. <br /> <br />Winiecki questioned if the sign would exceed 35 feet in height, if attached to <br />the roof of the building. <br /> <br />Deputy Clerk Iago reported that she had advised the applicant the balloon could <br />not exceed the height limitation. <br /> <br />Winiecki moved, seconded by Peck, that Council approve <br />the requested Temporary Sign Permit for Pot 0 Gold Hall, 3776 Connelly Avenue, <br />from June 8 thru 18, 1988, contingent upon the sign not exceeding the 35 ft. <br />height limitation. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br /> <br />RETAIL SALES LIC. & <br />TEMP. SIGN PERMIT, <br />CLEAN N' PRESS <br /> <br />Peck moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council approve the <br />retail sales license for Clean n' Press, 3673 North <br />Lexington, as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />(4-0) <br /> <br />Peck moved, seconded by Hansen, that Council approve the <br />Temporary Sign Permit for Clean n' Press, 3673 No. Lexington, from June 4 thru <br />IS, 1988. Motion carried unanimously. (4-0) <br />
