MCGUIRES <br />LIQUOR LICENSE <br /> <br />Council was referred to Clerk Administrator's memorandum <br />of 5-6-88, relative to the transfer of McGuire's On-Sale <br />and Sunday liquor licenses from Southmark Hospitality <br />Management to Motel Enterprises. <br /> <br />McNiesh advised the necessary fees had been paid, and the motion should be <br />subject to the Attorney's review of the documents and the Ramsey County Sheriff's <br />investigation. <br /> <br />Winiecki moved, seconded by Sather, that Council approve <br />the On-Sale and Sunday Liquor License transfer for McGuire's Inn, from Southmark <br />Hospitality Management to Motel Enterprises, subject to Attorney's review and <br />approval of documents and Ramsey County Sheriff's investigation and approval. <br />Motion carried unanimously. (3-0) <br /> <br />HIRE PT-TIME <br />RECEPTIONIST <br /> <br />Council was referred to McNiesh's memorandum, 5-9-88, <br />recommending hiring Amy Treise, 2012 Stowe Avenue, as <br />part-time receptionist for the City. <br /> <br />Moved by Winiecki, seconded by Sather, that Council <br />approve the hiring of Amy L. Treise, 2012 Stowe Avenue, beginning May 12, at a <br />salary of $5.2$ per hour, for 2$ hours per week. Motion carried unanimously. <br />(3-0 ) <br /> <br />DESIGNATE PLAN. <br />COMM. ALTERNATE <br /> <br />Acting Clerk Administrator McNiesh advised Council <br />that Dave Carlson and Barbara Piotrowski were both <br />appointed to Planning Commission on the same date. It was <br />one of the persons should be designated as an alternate. <br /> <br />her recommendation that <br /> <br />Councilmember Winiecki recommended Barbara Piotrowski be appointed as a regular <br />member, due to past experience serving on Board of Appeals, and Dave Carlson be <br />designated as Alternate #1. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Hansen designated Piotrowski as a regular member and Dave Carlson as <br />Alternate #1. <br /> <br />CLAIMS & PAYROLL <br /> <br />Sather moved, seconded by Winiecki, that Council approve <br />Claims and Payroll as submitted. Motion carried <br />unanimously. (3-0) <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Sather moved, seconded by Winiecki, that the meeting be <br />adjourned at 10:30 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
