Morrison, Clerk Administrator '~,~ <br /> Re: Update - No Parking (Agenda Item ffiS <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> I spoke with Mr. Dan Soler, Traffic Engineer for Ramsey <br /> County today to determine standards and procedures for <br /> no-parking on County roads, in case the Council determined <br /> they desired no parking on New Brighton Road. <br /> He advises (1) that there is not a minimum footage for no <br /> parking (noted as 300' in PS/W minutes and my memo), that <br /> (2) the County generally follows whatever a City requests, <br /> as a no parking zone is governed and enforced by the City. <br /> The Council need only pass a motion delineating their <br />. request. <br />. <br />
