Mr. Christoffersen has <br /> advised he hopes to hear back from MnDOT by the end of March. <br /> MileaRe <br /> The Council, at their meeting of February 23, authorized mileage payment <br /> of 21 cents per mile for conferences being attended by Bob Raddatz, Cathy <br /> Iago and Mike McKinney. In 1981 Council authorized mileage remunberation <br /> increase from 18-1/2 cents to 20 cents. As this was not formally amended <br /> by the Council, the minutes of 2/23 reflect the 20 cents per mile. <br /> SmokinR Policy <br /> In accordance with Council direction, we now have a temporary policy for <br /> compliance with the MN Clean Air Act. Commencing on March 2, the <br /> administrative offices, in entirety, have been designated no-smoking; the <br /> northerly half of the Council Chambers is smoking, and southerly half <br /> no-smoking. <br /> Extension of Cable Service <br /> Bill Bauer advises that Edgewater Estates has been pre-wired for cable <br /> service; final connection will be made when the street is in, and when the <br /> necessary right-of-entry agreement is signed with Mr. McGuire. Plans have <br /> been drawn for service to Arden Vista Court; service will be installed as <br /> . soon as weather permits. <br />
