Arbor Day will be <br /> celebrated with tree plantings again this year on April 25. The award will be <br /> presented to the Hayor at that time; citizens will all be encouraged to <br /> participate. <br /> LexinRton and HiRhway 96 Gateway <br /> Committee concurred to take steps to find out if HnDOT would be willing to <br /> release enough of their easement on the southwest corner of Highway 96 and <br /> Lexington to allow plantings, berming, and identification as outlined in the <br /> Parkway Study Plan. <br /> Mulcahy will represent the Parks Committee at a meeting at Shoreview Village <br /> Hall, called to discuss beautification possibilities for the Highway 96 <br /> corridor. <br /> Ad;ournment <br /> It was moved by Mishek. seconded by Otto, that the meeting be adjourned at 9:05 <br /> p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Submitted by Shirley Marshall. <br /> *********** <br /> .
