<br />Attorney Murray expressed his gratitude for the opportunity of the
<br />public hearing and he was present at this time to show the Council the
<br />Interest o'tha residents. He also stated that the resld~nts do have
<br />an alternative recommendation for the developmen+ of the area.

<br />Robert Jenal, chairman of the Planning Commission, stated that the
<br />Commission has boted 6 to 3 In f.avor of. the construction of the tO~1n
<br />houses. He stated that the Commission realizes that this Is a serious

<br />Attorney Courtney submitted a letter, dated March 14, 1966, to Mayor
<br />Nethercut which he detailed possible procedures for Implementing the
<br />. project. He stated fhat In hIs opinion i"he Counct I should procede accord-
