Clerk to so Inform Mr. <br />Schmelzer. <br /> <br />4Il Rldqewood Road Sewer Matter <br /> <br />J Engineer Lund stated that sewer construction for servicing lots 2, 3, <br />4, 5 and 6, Block 5, Arden Hills, cannot be further considered as he <br />Is unable to contact Gerald R. Minder, owner of Lots 4, 5, and 6. <br />Engineer Lund Informed the Council that Mr. Minder has not been avail- <br />able by phone, letters to hIm have been unanswered and a specIal de- <br />livery letter to hIm nad been refused. Mr. Jurek's home on lots 2 <br />and 3 I s a I most comp I sted; therefore he w III I nstsll a much I anger <br />sewer line than would be necessary under the proposal by BanIster <br />EngIneering Company. Attorney Courtney stated that the Village <br />could not Install the sewer lIne wIthout a public hearIng. A letter <br />from Engineer Lund to the CouncIl and attached, describes this problem <br />and his attempts for a solution; a copy of thIs letter Is being sent <br />to Mr. Minder. <br /> <br />REPORT Of TRUSTEE HOFFMANN <br /> <br />Public MeetlnQ <br /> <br />Trustee Hoffmann reported that about 35 people attended the public <br />meeting of February 24, sponsored by the Planning CommissIon with <br />assIstance from the Arden HIlls League of Women Voters. The subject <br />of thIs meeting was on multiple dwellIngs. Trustee Hoffmann felt <br />that thIs was not well attended and belIeves that the residents <br />need educatIng along thIs lIne. He stated that In his opinion, <br />when a decIsIon must be reached by the Council consIdering multIple <br />dwellings In Arden HIlls, the CouncIl must decIde what is best for <br />the VIllage and not for IndIvIduals. <br /> <br />Mayor Nethercut stated that he belIeves the Council must keep an <br />open mInd on the subject. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE CREPEAU <br /> <br />Annual Trauma Workshop <br /> <br />Trustee Crepeau requested the Clerk to register Officers LaVal Ie, <br />Sexton and Schmaedeke for the second Annual Trauma Workshop to be <br />hel d In HopkIns on March 31, and April 1st and 2nd. <br /> <br />Thank-You Letter <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Trustee Crepeau read a letter, dated February 17, 1866, from Mr. <br />Swenson commendIng the Pollee Department for the promt attentIon <br />servIce given to hIs son In an emergency. <br /> <br />Floyd <br />and <br /> <br />Proposed OrdInances <br /> <br />Trustee Crepeau Informed the CouncIl that the Public Safety CommIttee <br />Is working on proposed OrdInances as referred to them (fIre-arms, <br />hondas, etc.). <br /> <br />R~ORT OF TRUSTEE BJORNOAHL <br /> <br />RecreatIon <br /> <br />Trustee BJorndahl Informed the Council that the Parks and Recreation <br />CommIttee plan to have fencIng Installed "long County Road E and the <br />westerly sIde of the playground at County Road E and Haml Ine Avenue;~ <br />they are also plannIng some flnclng at ths HIghway 10 and County <br />Road F playground. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
