<br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY AND Arden Hills <br /> FOR A RECYCLING GP~NT . <br /> This Agreement is made this day of , 1990, <br /> between Ramsey County through the Public Health Department <br /> (hereinafter "County") and ---.---.-------- (hereinafter <br /> "City"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> \'lHEREAS, the County has established policies and plans supporting <br /> curbside recycling as part of an overall waste abatement program, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City supports curbside recycling and desires that it <br /> be available to residents of the City, and <br /> WHEREAS, the County has collected funds through its solid <br /> waste/recycling service charge and from the State of rhnnesota <br /> specifically for curbside recycling, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has requested funds f rom the County to support <br /> the City's curbside recycling program, <br /> NOl'I THEREFORE, the County and City mutually agree as follows in . <br /> consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained <br /> herein: <br /> l. OBLIGATIONS <br /> a. Reimbursement <br /> 1) The City shall provide a curbside recycling program and <br /> s ha 11 incur expenses for rei:nbursement by the County <br /> according to the Budget shown in Attachment A. The City <br /> shall not request reimbursement for expenses or that <br /> portion of expenses which have been or will be reimbursed <br /> by other parties, agencies or programs. The City may <br /> request reimburse'lent on a monthly, quarterly or seml- <br /> annual basis, depending on the schedule the City chooses. <br /> The City shall submit proper documentation for <br /> reimbursement which shall include photocopies of the <br /> contractor's bill (s) and bills for public education <br /> expenses, a completed County claim form, and monthly <br /> tonnages for the j:Jeriod. <br /> 2 ) The County shall reimburse the City for up to 75% of <br /> program costs described lTI Attachment A, following <br /> receij:Jt of adequately documented requests for . <br /> reimbursement from the City.
