SALLAND <br /> <br />Cummings Lane Sewer Contract <br />Atty. Salland reported that there is a matter of obtainine an <br />easement before the contract for the Cummings Lane sewer can be <br />finalized. <br /> <br />Bond Issue Matter <br />Atty. Salland reported that as per letter from Atty. Courtney, <br />dated August 9, 1905, more detailed information is needed for <br />specific answers concernIng the placing of a bond issue on the <br />ballot. He stated that the language can be general, but the amount <br />of money must be specific and procedure must be in accordance wit h <br />the State Statutes. <br /> <br />Rezoning of Southwest Corner of Floral Vrive and Hamline Ave. <br />Acting Mayor Crepea~ introduced by title and gave the first read- <br />ing to an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 18. the Zoning Ordlnance. <br />to rezone to Residential certain property lying south of Floral <br />Drive, northerly of S.T.H. No. 094 and westerly of Hamline Aven~e; <br />seconded by Trustee Lang; motion carried. <br /> <br />Uniform Building Code <br />Atty. Courtney had submitted several copies of a rough draft of <br />an Ord~aance adopting the Uniform Building Code, and reconwended <br />in his letter of August 9. 1905, that the Heating Inspector and the <br />Building Inspector review the drafts before any action is taken. <br /> <br />Pro osed Rezonin of Northwest Corner of Hw 0 96 and 35W. <br />tty. Courtney reported in his etter, dated ugust . 1905, tha'~ <br />the necessary material is in order on this matter and the pUblic <br />hearing date is scheduled for Aueust 30, t9ti5. Ownership report <br />has been submitted to the Clerk for mailing and publication pur= <br />poses. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Vessey-Thompson Matter <br />Atty. Selland l'eported that this matter is still not oomplete. but <br />believes it will be ready for the September 13, .Counoil. meeting. <br />Bidf':. Insp. Clay Kelley informed the Counc'il that lIIr. Vessey has <br />the bUilding permit for his garage and the footings are in. but <br />no further construction is anticipated this year. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGR. LUND , <br />(Presented by Clerk Lorraine Stromquist) <br /> <br />Neamy Drainage Matter <br />~ngr. Lund informed the Council that the State Dept. will check <br />whether this responsibility is the State's or the Villaee's. He <br />informed the Council that he will propose a plan to the State to <br />obtain financial aid. <br /> <br />Siems Court Road Hepair <br />Engr. Lund reported that Fred Nixon is working on this repair walk. <br />Acting Mayor Crepeau requested her,r. Lund to contact him. <br />
