<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Page Po~ <br /> <br />t>~. <br /> <br />Minutes oZ Regulnr Council Meeting <br /> <br />JtUl(J l~}, 1965 <br /> <br />REPORT OF BUILDING INSPECTOR CLAY KELLEY <br /> <br />Thom Drive Area <br />Mr. Kelley infonned the Council that he had checked the addition to <br />the house at 2015 Thom Drive ahd reported that a building permit WaS <br />not required as the cost was less than ~35.000 He told the Council <br />that the location of the lot line would ~ve to be verified to de~ <br />termine if there is a violation to the Building Code regarding the <br />side lot reQuirement which he will pursUe. <br /> <br />Mr.' Kelley informed the Council that he intends to check all the <br />Thom Drive properties for viOlation of the Building Code. <br /> <br />Stephenson Matter <br />The bUi~ding plans for the stephenson home on Lake Johanna Blvd. <br />were checked by Mr. Aelley, Mayor Kenaedy and Trustee Crepeau and <br />they agreed that the plana oonform to the Ordinance. Mr. Kelley <br />informed the Council that he is Satisfied that adequate financing <br />1'01' the construction is available. Mayor Kennedy sta.'GEJd tha't Mr. <br />Stephenson was warned that any nOn=conform~nce to the code will <br />result in red tagging of the property. <br /> <br />Industrial Building Permit <br />Trustee Nethercut moved, seconded by Trustee Crepeau. that a bUild~ <br />ing permit be issued. as recommended by the Planning Commission. to <br />allow the construction of two warehouse type buildings as per plane <br />sUbmitted; motion oarried& <br /> <br />Mr. Roberts and Mr. Daubney were present; Mr. Roberts stated that <br />he will submit a landscaping plan for the four warehouse buildings. <br /> <br />Mr. Daubney informed the Council thot Grey Fox Rond will soon be <br />ready for dedication to the Village. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE NE.'THERCUT <br /> <br />701 Plan <br />Trustee Nethercut reported that only one more Planning Commission <br />meeting will be held u~der the 701 Plan with Cerl Dele attending. <br />He infonned the Council that the Planning Commission would li~e Mr. <br />Dale to continue his servioes to the Village at an estimated cost <br />of $150.00 per month; he informed the Council that adequate funds <br />are in the budget to pay for this service. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE CHEPEAU <br /> <br />Trustee Crepeau reported that the dog problem appears to be under <br />control and the usual influx of heavy summer traffic is .apparent 0 <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE LANG <br /> <br />County Road F Play~roU~d <br />Trustee Lang reported that he and Roy Anderson had staked out the <br />position of the backstop for the balLfield at Coulty Road F and <br />found that the fencing to be installed would be se~eral feet short <br />on both sides. He informed the COUncil that the contractor. Minn. <br />Fence Coo. has agreed to install a fence of adequate length at an <br />additional cost of $219.00 which they would bill the Village under <br />a separate contract. Referred to Trustee Lang to cheek with Atty. <br />Courtney for oorreot prooedure. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE OLMEN <br /> <br />Street Sweeping <br />Fred Nixon. Maintenanoe Dept., has decided to use the street sweeping <br />equipment between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. to avoid the dust complaints <br />from the residents. He ieformed the Council tha t due to the heavy <br />accumulation of sand on the streets. it is necessary to sweep each <br />street more thae once for satisfactory removal. <br /> <br />-4~ <br />
