Trustee Ne'thGl'cut moved <br />that the plans. as shown to the Cou cil by Lawrence Brodle, member <br />of ' the PlanningGommisslon. be approv~d regarding the construction of <br />a truck storage bui~ding for Northwestern Bell Telephone Co., providing <br />'the setback 1'equiremen'ts al'e adhered 'to and subjec't to the approval <br />of the detailed ronstruction plans by the Building Inspector; seconded <br />by Trustee Crepe~u; motion carried. <br /> <br />701 Plan <br />Plan No.5. Planning Administ1'ative frocedures. wae submitted to the <br />. Counci 1 for 13 tudy. <br /> <br />Proposed Zoning Maps <br />Trustee Nethercut Informed the Council that included in the cost of <br />the 701 Plan we a1'e to receive 450 proposed zoning maps with a su~rnary <br />on the reverse side. The Coulcil felt that will be a sufficient <br />quantity. and l'ecommended that they be available at the' Village ,Hall <br />for interested parties. Mayor Aennedy suggested 'i:;hat befol's the maps <br />are prin'ted. Mr. Dale be requested to submi'i:; a list of reasons fol' <br />any reconmlended rezoning for Council 00 nsiderfltion and olso fOl' ;,oity. <br />Courtney's opinion. <br /> <br />Trustee Nethel'cut informed the Council that the completion date oIthe <br />701 Plan is June 30; Mayor Kennedy requested Trustee Nethercut to 8sk <br />Carl Dale if the printing of the maps could possibly be done aftsr <br />this da'te. <br /> <br />Y.M.C.A. Site <br />Mayor Kennedy requested the Clerk 'GO send a letts:" 't;c the Northwes':;er!l <br />Suburban Y.M.C.A. offering them the assistance of the Council and the <br />Parks and Recreation Committee in their effort to locate a site for a <br />bUilding in the area and suggesting tha't 'they contact T.:"us.tee Lang or <br />Dr. BUorndahl for this assistance. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE LANG <br /> <br />Recreation <br />'.I;rustee Lang requested the Cler: to check with C8rl Dale on whe'i:;hGl' <br />any maps are available designating the pedestf<ian 'trails as the Boy <br />Scouts are interested in this stUdy. <br /> <br />Trustee Lang reported that the Parks and Recreation COrr@ittee toured <br />the Village looking at rec1'eational sites as proposed by Carl D6le <br />and wIll submit a complete report of their opinions l~ter. Trustee <br />Lang x:eques'ted the Clerk to check 'the ownership of the lJl'Oper'ty as <br />checked by the Committee and he will check the costs. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE OLlVlEN <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Repo1't of Mayor Kennedy <br /> <br />Annual Weed Inspection Meeting <br />Mayor Kennedy inf~ed the Council that Fred Nixon was attending the <br />Annual Weed Inspection Meeting which is required by laW. <br /> <br />Village Planning <br />The Council recommended that the Finance Committee schedule a meeting <br />for preliminary study of the financing for the purchase of proposed <br />recreational sites and also sites for the storage building and village <br />hall;'Trustee Nethercut recommended if the Finance Committee determ~nes <br />the financing be done by bond issueg it should be on the ballot this <br />fall. A joint meet ng of the Finance Committee and the Parks and Play= <br />grounds Committee will be scheduled after prelimina1'y separate meetings. <br /> <br />Garbage Ordinance <br />lVIayor Kennedy requested Tr'ustee Crepeau to meet wHh the Police Officel's <br />to inform them of the many garbage ordinance violations in the VillaGe; <br />he suggested that complairlts be regis'tered with 'the Clerk's office and <br />she will send a copy of' ,the Ordinance to the violatoro <br /> <br /><>3", <br />
