Arden Hi lIs Counci 1 3 March 30, 1992 <br /> <br />MOTION: Malone moved, seconded by Hicks, to adopt Resolution <br />92-19 Relating to Apportionment of Assessments Relating <br />to Improvement No, SS-W-89-1 (Cleveland Avenue Lift <br />Station), Motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />ADOPT RES. #92-23 AND RES. #92-24 <br />D..ILLER LANE STREET-R~CONSTRUCTION) <br /> <br />Council was in receipt of tabulation of bids opened on March <br />19, 1992 for the Tiller Lane Street Reconstruction Project. <br />City Engineer Graham advised that the lowest bid received <br />was 17% below estimated construction costs presented at the <br />public hearing on this project. He reminded Council that <br />the engineer's estimate for the project was based upon the <br />revised feasibility report which included subgrade <br />corrections and installation of drain tile. <br /> <br />Graham recommended Council delay awarding the bid until <br />completion of the assessment hearing. He did, however, <br />recommend Council approve two resolutions; the first <br />establishing the residential equivalent rate for street <br />reconstruction of Tiller Lane as $29,27 per front foot, and <br />the second determining the costs to be assessed and ordering <br />. preparation of the assessment roll. <br /> <br />MOTION: Hicks moved, seconded by Malone, to adopt Resolution <br />92-23 Establishing Residential Equivalent Assessment <br />Rate for Tiller Lane Street Reconstruction. Motion <br />carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />MOTION: Mahowald moved, seconded by Malone, to adopt Resolution <br />92-24 Determining Assessed Cost of Improvement and <br />Ordering Preparation of Proposed Assessment Roll in the <br />Matter of 1992 Tiller Lane street Reconstruction <br />Improvement. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />APPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN RAMSEY <br />COUNTY AND THE CITY; SCOR~ <br />FUNDING RECYCLING GRANT <br /> <br />Acting Clerk Administrator Iago reported that per Council <br />authorization in November, 1991, staff submitted an <br />application for grant money available through Ramsey <br />County's SCORE program to assist in funding the City's <br />recycling program, She added that $18,920 in SCORE funding <br />is available to the City and will be paid in two <br />installments upon execution of the appropriate agreement <br />between Ramsey County and the City. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />j <br /> <br />.. <br />
