<br /> --.---- <br /> Arden Hills Council 4 March 30, 1992 . <br /> Acting Clerk Iago stated that councilmember Growe contacted <br /> her with some questions regarding SCORE and she provided <br /> Growe with the following information: 1) The City has met <br /> all SCORE deadlines, 2 ) The application for SCORE grant <br /> money included detail as to the City's recycling program and <br /> the types of materials collected, 3 ) As part of the SCORE <br /> agreement, the City must submit quarterly reports to Ramsey <br /> County SCORE program. Iago advised that Attorney Filla has <br /> reviewed the agreement and found it to be in proper order. <br /> MOTION: Hicks moved, seconded by Malone, to authorize the <br /> execution of the agreement between Ramsey County and <br /> the Ci ty of Arden Hill s for a SCORE Recycling Fund <br /> Grant. Motion carried unanimously (4-0), <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE <br /> NEWSLETTER EDITOR <br /> Council reviewed memoranda from Acting Clerk Administrator <br /> Iago and former Clerk Administrator Berger recommending <br /> hiring Kate Huebsch for the position of newsletter editor. <br /> Note was made that Ms. Huebsch's proposal for newsletter <br /> editor services was within the constraints of the budget. <br /> Councilmember Mahowald stated that Ms. Huebsch appears to . <br /> very capable to provide very high quality work on the <br /> newsletter. He reminded Council that actual postage costs <br /> for the newsletter may end up slightly higher than <br /> anticipated within Ms. Huebsch's proposal should there be <br /> changes to the format of the newsletter or postage rates, <br /> MOTION: Mahowald moved, seconded by Hicks, to authorize hiring <br /> Kate Huebsch as the Newsletter Editor at a cost not to <br /> exceed $12,000 for three editions of the newsletter, <br /> postage and printing for the year 1992. Motion carried <br /> unanimously (4-0) . <br /> APPROVE SALARY INCREASE FOR <br /> PROGRAM SUPERVISOR <br /> Council reviewed a memorandum from Parks Director Buckley <br /> which recommended a salary increase for Program Supervisor <br /> Cindy Severtson to $31,225, Step 2 of the 1992 Pay Plan <br /> based upon her excellent performance as Program Supervisor. <br /> Councilmember Malone commended Buckley on the completeness <br /> of his memo in that it provided Council with salary history, <br /> performance evaluation, comparison of salaries/positions, as <br /> well as a recommendation for increase.
