To assist in obtaining uniformity, the <br /> International Conference of Building Officials publishes <br /> "Building Valuation Data" in its Building Standards magazine <br /> periodically. Thus, building officials may utilize a common base <br /> in their determination of the value of buildings." <br /> From the Building Valuation Data published in the september- <br /> OctOber, 1992 (current), issue of the magazine: <br /> " The unit costs are intended to comply with the definition of <br /> "valuation" in Section 423 of the Uniform Building Code (TM) and <br /> thus include architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing and <br /> mechanical work, except as specifically listed below. The unit <br /> costs also include contractor's profit, which should not be <br /> omitted." <br /> This method of valuation was used in the determination of value <br /> for the building permit fees at 1178 Benton Way. <br />. <br /> . <br />. <br />
