Project costs remaining after receipt of payments <br /> by Bauer and Noyed. <br /> 4.5 Paying Agent. <br /> The City shall act as the paying agent for the purpose of <br /> the administration of the Construction Contract. The <br /> following procedure shall apply to contract payments: <br /> 8. Contractor requests for payments shall be submitted <br /> to the City's consulting engineer who shall verify <br /> that the work for which payment is being requested <br /> has been completed pursuant to the Approved Plans <br /> and Specifications. <br /> b. Payment of verified claims shall be made within <br /> thirty (30) days of receipt of claim. <br /> o. Bongard and Noyed shall remit Twenty Percent (20%) <br /> of their required payment to the' City before <br /> construction of the Improvement Project and shall <br /> remit the balance, except as hereinafter provided, <br /> within fifteen (15) days after final inspection and <br /> acceptance of the Improvement Project by the City. <br /> Bauer shall pay the City $1,000 upon approval of <br /> this Agreement by the City's Council. <br /> . 3 <br /> ---.---.- - <br />
