These awards are based on both performance and community involvement. <br /> In 1993, the post recei ved some of the top awards ,a t the annua 1 competeti on hel din <br /> Breezy Point Mn. Among these awards are the followin9: <br /> 1st. place male Explorer male individual shooting. <br /> 1st. place male Explorer 2- mile run. <br /> 3rd. place female Explorer 2- mile run, <br /> 1st. place Crime prevention, <br /> 1st. place Bomb scene searching, <br /> 2nd. place Domestic interveiwing. . <br /> 3rd. place Gang intervention, <br /> 3rd. place Burglary response. <br /> Within the Indianhead council of the boy scouts, the Ramsey County Explorer post <br /> has also received high honors. The most recent award was the Quality Service for <br /> . chartered posts. This award was given to Ramsey County Explorers at the annual business <br /> meeting for the Indianhead council, held in St. Paul. <br /> In April of this year. the lndianhead council of the boy scouts will be presenting <br /> the Ramsey County Explorers with another service award titled the Division award of <br /> merit. We have also rer.eived many individual awards. One of our frmale members just <br /> received the Explorer of the year award, this was presented at the annual Explorer <br /> dinner.
