. .
Forqerv:
. Stable category with little change and no trends indicated.
Criminal Damaqe To Property:
Damage to autos vandalism to private property continues to
lead this category. Most of these offenses are committed by
juveniles and points to our continuing concerns with increases
in juvenile offenses throughout our contract cities area.
Weapons Offenses:
There was only one investigation in this category and this
continues to be a very small number for the City of Arden
Hills.
Juvenile Offenses:
This category continues to increase and this is consistent
throughout the Metro Area. We are seeing an increasing number
of these types of offenses throughout our contract cities.
More two wage earner families with less parental supervision
and too much idle time leads to these types of problems. This
is viewed as more of a family breakdown problem. We are
working with other police agencies in the county to enforce
curfew ordinances as well as making recommendations for coming
. up with one curfew ordinance for all of Ramsey County.
Misconduct - Nuisance:
This remains a stable category for the second quarter.
Communication crimes:
Stable category with no trends indicated.
Trespassinq:
No investigations in this category for the second quarter
1994.
Administrative I Misc Investiqations:
citizens continue to do a good job of reporting suspicious
incidents to the police. Numbers indicate this trend is
continuing. Most of thaoffenses in this category are handled
by our Uniform Patrol deputies.
.
