<br /> City of Arden Hills Chapter 2 Administration <br />. employee began an unpaid leave of absence, the employee may elect to be covered by group <br /> health insurance but will-~afJbe responsible for paying one hundred (100) percent of the <br /> premium costs. Any exceptions to this policy ",ill ~!ttrequire the approval of the City <br /> Council. <br /> Subd. 3 Advance Approval. Unpaid leave of absence shall require the'advance written <br /> approval of the Clerk-Administrator based upon the recommendation of the employee's <br /> department head. <br /> 240.22 Jury Duty. <br />. <br /> Subd. 1 Leave Granted. An employee required to serve as a juror or under subpoena as a <br /> witness in court shall be granted leave of absence with pay while serving such capacity. Such <br /> employee shall receive the amount of the difference between the employee's regular salary <br /> and jury duty payor fees received for service. An employee cannot receive more than the <br /> employee's normal take-home pay as a result of any City pay supplement to jury duty pay. <br /> Subd. 2 Reporting to Work. If the jury is dismissed prior to the end of the employee's <br /> workday, the employee will report to work if practicable. <br /> 240.23 Parental Leave. Parental leave in conjunction with the birth or adoption of a child shall <br />. be in accordance with State ~;~fiitStatutes. <br /> 2 - 64 <br />
