<br /> City of Arden Hills Chapter 2 Administration <br />. Subd. 2 Holiday on Weekend. When New Year's Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day <br /> or Christmas Day fall on Sunday, the following Monday shall be a holiday. When New <br /> Year's Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day or Christmas Day fall on Saturday, the <br /> preceding Friday shall be a holiday. Floating holidays must have prior approval of the em- <br /> ployee's supervisor. <br /> 240.25 Severance Pay. Regular full-time employees who have completed ten (10) or more years <br /> of continuous service with the City and who are leaving the City's employment in good standing <br /> ;//,'-'....,.." <br /> ~ receive a percentage of their unused accumulated sick leave upon retirement or layoff. <br /> This severance pay benefit will ~Fllfbe thirty-three and one-third (33%) percent of the employee's <br />. unused accumulated sick leave to a maximum benefit of forty (40) days [three hundred twenty <br /> (320) hours] of pay. <br /> 240.26 Resignation. <br /> Subd. 1 Notice. An employee leaving the municipal service in good standing shall give <br /> fourteen (14) calendar days' advance written notice of resignation to the employee's <br /> immediate supervisor. The employee shall be compensated for accumulated unused vacation <br /> leave provided that the employee has a minimum of one (1) complete year of continuous <br /> service. Failure to give the required advance notice may be cause for denying future <br /> employment in the municipal service. <br />. <br /> 2 - 66 <br />
