WATER; 94.53, SANITARY SEWER. <br /> " City Accountant Terry Post indicated Cristine Leavitt, a member of the Finance <br /> Committee, had a few comments to submit to the Council. Ms. Leavitt, a recent <br /> resident of the City of Arden Hills, indicated as resident she would like to submit a <br /> proposal to charge City sewer services based on usage rather than a flat fee basis. <br /> Ms. Leavitt presented the Council with a memorandum outlining rates of various <br /> surrounding cities and charge methods. Ms. Leavitt indicated a formal proposal would <br /> be prepared and presented to the Council by December of this year. <br /> Mr. Carl Rundquist from the Finance Committee indicated further studies will be made <br /> analyzing various utility charge systems. <br /> Council held discussion on the proposed sewer rates. <br /> MOTION: Hicl<s moved and Malone seconded a motion to approve Resolutions No. <br /> 94-52, Revising Water Utility Rates Effective January I, 1995 and No. 94- <br /> 53, Revising the Sanitary Sewer Utility Rates Effective January I, 1995, <br /> with the Finance Committee to continue their analysis of various methods <br /> of charge systems. <br /> - ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br />
