OCTOBER 10.1994 6 . <br /> COUNTY ROAD I <br /> Administrator Person indicated the County is asking for more information regarding <br /> County Road I. Public Works Superintendent Dan Winkel added he has been asked to <br /> attend a meeting with Ramsey County and Shoreview to discuss the extension of County <br /> Road I from Lexington to Hamline. Public Works Superintendent Winkel indicated the <br /> County would like input from the City regarding this extension. <br /> Mayor Probst and Council indicated this extension would not be a priority for the City <br /> at this time. <br /> TH 96 TASK FORCE <br /> Administrator Person noted a request from the Department of Public Works indicating <br /> the County would like to establish a task force for Trunk Highway 96. They are <br /> requesting one Staff, one citizen and one business owner to be selected for the task force. <br /> Administrator Person's suggestions would be: Dan Winkel for representation of Staff, a <br /> representative from Public Works Committee and a business around Round Lake - <br /> Boulevard. <br /> Mayor Probst indicated suggestions for appointments were fine and formal approval <br /> would be given when presented. <br /> Mayor Probst indicated a related item, a resolution developed by the County requesting <br /> municipal concurrence of County State Aid Highway system designation, could be <br /> adapted into proper City format for approval. <br /> MOTION: Malone moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve Resolution <br /> No. 94-50 reflecting Municipal Concurrence of County State Aid Highway <br /> System Designation for Highway 96. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION COMMITIEE <br /> Administrator Person indicated it would be helpful to have a Council liaison to help <br /> direct the Employee Recognition Committee. Mayor Probst inquired if any <br /> Councilmember was interested. <br /> Councilmember Aplikowski expressed interest. Mayor Probst appointed Councilmember - <br /> Aplikowski liaison to the Employee Recognition Committee. <br />
