. . ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL. OCTOBER 10.1994 6 . COUNTY ROAD I Administrator Person indicated the County is asking for more information regarding County Road I. Public Works Superintendent Dan Winkel added he has been asked to attend a meeting with Ramsey County and Shoreview to discuss the extension of County Road I from Lexington to Hamline. Public Works Superintendent Winkel indicated the County would like input from the City regarding this extension. Mayor Probst and Council indicated this extension would not be a priority for the City at this time. TH 96 TASK FORCE Administrator Person noted a request from the Department of Public Works indicating the County would like to establish a task force for Trunk Highway 96. They are requesting one Staff, one citizen and one business owner to be selected for the task force. Administrator Person's suggestions would be: Dan Winkel for representation of Staff, a representative from Public Works Committee and a business around Round Lake - Boulevard. Mayor Probst indicated suggestions for appointments were fine and formal approval would be given when presented. Mayor Probst indicated a related item, a resolution developed by the County requesting municipal concurrence of County State Aid Highway system designation, could be adapted into proper City format for approval. MOTION: Malone moved and Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve Resolution No. 94-50 reflecting Municipal Concurrence of County State Aid Highway System Designation for Highway 96. Motion carried unanimously (4-0). EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION COMMITIEE Administrator Person indicated it would be helpful to have a Council liaison to help direct the Employee Recognition Committee. Mayor Probst inquired if any Councilmember was interested. Councilmember Aplikowski expressed interest. Mayor Probst appointed Councilmember - Aplikowski liaison to the Employee Recognition Committee.
