Post, Acting City Administrator <br />I SUBJECT: Bingo Hall License Application <br />I <br /> This morning Goldie K, Siedow, owner of the Pot 0' Gold Bingo Hall facility, came into city <br />I offices with two requests: <br /> I. Approval of a Premises permit application for the Shoreview Arden Hills Lions Club, <br />I Inc. and; <br />I- 2. Approval of a Bingo Hall license application for the Pot 0' Gold Bingo Hall at 3776 <br /> Connelly A venue. <br />I Staff is not prepared to recommend action on the Lion's Club premises permit application. <br /> However, staff is prepared to recommend action on the Bingo Hall license application. Staff has <br /> ensured that the license applicant is current with respect to all other city fees and a background <br />I check of the owner and the facility with the Ramsey County Sheriffs Department has revealed <br /> nothing unusual. Staff is holding the applicant's $100,00 business license fee pending Council <br /> action on the Bingo Hall license application. <br />I Recommendation <br />I Staff recommends Council approval of the 1995 Bingo Hall license for the Pot 0' Gold Bingo <br /> Hall operation at 3776 Connelly Avenue. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I- <br />I <br />
