AT 1310 WEST COUNTY ISQAD J<;~ <br /> APPLICANT-TED BRAUSEN/AMOCO. <br /> I Chair Erickson opened the Public Hearing at 8:37 p.m. City AdministratorJPlanner confIrmed the <br /> publication of Notice of Hearing on Tuesday April 18, 1995 in the Focus. <br /> I Mr. Fritsinger briefly reviewed the request for several site improvements at the exi.sling !\mueeJ <br /> convenience store on County Road E and the previously approved Amoco Certicare Improvements <br /> include the construction of a new canopy, reorganization of signage, realignment of pump island, and <br /> I a 600 square foot two story office addition. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger indicated the Planning Commission reviewed this application as part of the November, <br /> I 1994 meeting. At this meeting the Commission tabled the request pending receipt of an approved <br /> access easement agreement. <br /> I- Mr. Fritsinger indicated because the properties are owned by different individuals and two separate <br /> Special Use Permits are existing, the Commission must undertake two separate actions. <br /> I Mr. Fritsinger reviewed each Special Use Permit. <br /> I Mr. Ted Brausen, applicant, provided the Commission with a copy of a letter in regards 10 the <br /> easement issue. This issue has been resolved and a formaIletter will be forwarded to the City as soon <br /> as the lawyers finish the agreement. <br /> I Mr. Wally Anderson, inquired if each site would be required to have refuse storage, he only noted <br /> one for both sites. Mr. Fritsinger indicated the Zoning Ordinance does not address this issue <br /> I specifically, and he was unsure as to the requirement of the municipal code, but the Commission <br /> could add a condition. <br /> I Mr. Brausen indicated he could keep two garbage receptacles. <br /> Chair Erickson, hearing no further comments, closed the Public Hearing at 8: 51 p.m. <br /> I Chair Erickson asked if any vehicle stacking is anticipated. Mr. Brausen stated no stacking is <br /> anticipated with ten pumps available. <br /> I Rye asked if there would be a problem with the car wash, if multiple cars wanted a car wash. Mr. <br /> I- Brausen indicated only on approximately five days a year does the car wash get extremely busy. <br /> I <br />
