I <br /> DRAFT .1 <br /> Arden Hills Planning: Minutes Pag:e 8 5/03/95 <br /> I <br /> The Council decided an Environment Assessment Worksheet should be ordered regarding the I <br /> Ogren proposed development, the cost of a study is estimated between $8,000 - $10,000. <br /> The responsibility for this cost has not yet been determined. <br /> Councilmember Hicks noted the City does not hold fee title to a parcel previously indicated I <br /> as dedicated park land. Therefore, research is being done to review the status of all noted <br /> parks in the City I <br /> COMMISSION COMMENTS. <br /> Chair Erickson request Mr. Fritsinger to update the Commission regarding the last TCAAP I <br /> Reutilization Committee meeting. I <br /> Mr. Fritsinger indicated the last meeting held on April 29th was one of the most active. He indicated <br /> citizens had picketed outside the facility regarding a proposed casino for the Arsenal site. Although I <br /> the City had no knowledge of any plans for a casino, citizens were skeptical. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger indicated the citizens requested a more neutral meeting site, such as Shoreview, so -. <br /> residents would feel more comfortable in attending the meetings. <br /> Mr. Fritsinger indicated the information received was that only 50% of the site will be available for I <br /> development after the AlliantT ech safety zone is considered. <br /> Councilmember Hicks indicated through press releases the City is trying to establish the fact that the I <br /> City of Arden Hills is still the responsible authority for the planning and development of this area. <br /> ADJOURNMENT I <br /> Sand motioned, Rye seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:55 p.m. The motion <br /> carried unanimously.
