Temporary Permits. ~~ 13-83-13-100 <br /> ARTICLE 1. IN GENERAL <br />. Sec. 13-1. Purpose. <br />I It is the intention of the council to regulate and license <br /> herein certain types of businesses not otherwise regulated or <br /> Ilcensed in the city, to the end that the public welfare shall <br /> thereby be protected and promoted. Differentiation in the <br />I licensees charged herein is based upon the judgment of the <br /> council as to the probable expense involved in policing and <br /> inspecting various businesses. In SOme cases insurance <br />.- coverage is required. where in the opinion of the council a <br /> business offers an unusual opportunity for loss or damage. <br /> No business activity licensed under other ordinances of this <br /> city shall be required to obtain licenses hereunder. It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in any <br /> business, occupation or activity for which a license fee is <br /> imposed by the provisions of this chapter without first <br />. obtaining a license 50 to do.
