The Council is asked to approve $ 84,999.05 as part of the 1995 Street Improvement project. This pay estimate has been recommended for approval by the City Engineer. . 6. Resolution 95-74 The Council is asked to adopt Resolution 95-74, which awards . 1995 Storm Water Drainage Improvements to Jay Brothers, Inc. The bid from Jay Brothers was 4 % less than the engineers estimate for the project at $54,466. The engineer is recommending . the Karth Lake portion of the project occur this fall with the Hamline A venue portion to take place next spring. . 7. TCAAP Update The attached article reports on the October 23, 1995, Public .- Hearing held by the Vento Reutilization Committee. A message given at the meeting by many of those in attendance was that the site should remain as open space. It appears the Vento Committee . will hold an additional meeting in November to consider further changes to the attached plan. . Staff is working with MSA on preparing a proposal to Alliant Techsystems to provide water and sewer services at TCAAP under the modified Caretaker Contract. This proposal is due November . 8, 1995, with work starting December 1. Staff will update the Council at the Meeting. . 2. Non-Al!enda Items a.
