April 4. 1955 to oonsider the proposed <br /> <br /> <br />system. <br /> <br /> <br />A Cluestion was raised as to whether the Mounds View polioe have the right <br /> <br /> <br />to use the village hall looated in Arden Hills as a base for watching for <br /> <br /> <br />speeding traffio. the~' to follow the car on into Mounds View and make the <br /> <br /> <br />arrest there. l.fr. Courtney will oheok the legality of it and write to <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. MoClung. <br /> <br /> <br />The dog situation was again brought to the Counoil. A resident on <br /> <br /> <br />Hamline Ave. stated the situation had not improved in the past month. The <br /> <br /> <br />Village Health Offioer will be asked to investigate. Hr. Courtney stated <br /> <br /> <br />a dog kennel oan be only on an industrial area, and then only wi th special <br /> <br /> <br />Council approval. McClung moved that the Village Attorney be author1l!:ed to <br /> <br /> <br />write to Mr. Mahr advising him that he is operating a kennel in violation <br /> <br /> <br />of zoning laws, and. if he has not taken steps in ]0 ~s to oorrect the <br /> <br /> <br />situation. and ad.vise the Council on what action he has taken on it by <br /> <br /> <br />April 25. 1955, that the Counoil will take legal steps to enforoe the law. <br /> <br /> <br />~lr. DeLange seoonded the motion. Motion :passed. <br /> <br />:Publio Works Committee: Mr. DeLange stated all roads are posted except <br /> <br /> <br />Ingerson Addition. that there are several soft spots to be graveled !lJld <br /> <br /> <br />that some oulverts were plugged. There was a q~estion on the oulvert <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_ installation near the Ingerson property.
