A public hearing will be held on the matter before that date. <br /> <br />Upon motion by Winfrey, seconded by DeLange, the following election boards <br />were approved for the September 9 primary election. Stromquist - Clerk <br /> <br />Precinct 2 <br />Douglas Sautbine <br />Dorothy Zebm <br />Mrs. Howard Schultz <br />Katherine Lametti <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A letter from the OreditBureau of St. Paul requesting a list of building <br />permits and valuation monthly was referred to Attorney Courtney. <br /> <br />A request from Mrs. Hodgson for Council aid to stop the Oak Wilt in Arden <br />Hille #2 was referred to Attorney Courtney. <br /> <br />A letter from the Board of Commissioners of Ramsey County requested that <br />they be notified of any future Village Ordinances affecting county property. <br /> <br />A letter from the Board of Commissioners of Ramsey County informed the <br />Council that Arden Hills has been granted permission to post on Coumty <br />recreational property on Lake Johanna in regard to motor boat license re- <br />quirements and also permission to issue licenses on County property, in- <br />cluding the refectory. <br /> <br />Stromquist announced that On-Sale Liquor License applications are available. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS COMlITTEE: DeLange reported that the cost of removing the <br />old cottonwood trees on Prior would be approximately ~5~O.oo. Ashbach <br />suggested topping the trees for the present time. <br /> <br />MAYOR'S REPORT: Mr. Brennen of the Roseville Council attended meeting. <br />He informed our Council that the proposed sewer connection for the south <br />end of Arden Hills to RoseVille will be given at the cost to Roseville <br />with no profit to Roseville. <br /> <br />Mayor Ashbach stated he felt that the Council would be negligent unless <br />we survey the apDroximate area south of the Soo line tracks for possible <br />sewer hook-up. He stated that the Bannister Engineering Company would <br />make the survey for approximately ~~2,OOO.OO. Motion was made b~ \'Tinfrey, <br />seconded by Crepeau that a sewer survey be made of Arden Hills ~l and <br />Arden Hills #2, the Ingerson addition and the western part of Lake Josephine <br />area~_the cost of the survey to revert to the benefltte~._pr~2erty o~s <br />of tnat area of the Village if the sewer is installedl'rno1;iO'ir"'p~ed. ~. <br />
