.

.

18

. tTIYOR ASHBACH: Anyone else?
MR. HERMAN DOEPN~q, 3401 No. Snelling: I feel I ;have
unplatted property. You're familiar with it, Mayor. And I was
wondering what is this line here. I see there's an 8 inch
main that seems to end opposite the number 1 there and I was
wondering whether that is based upon an actual survey - a
physical survey of the property.! hardly think so. I'm wondering
if the engineering company simply had a blue print and was guided
by the blue print rather than the actual physical lay of the land.
liR. ;:iHORT: I can assure you I was on your property with a
surveying instrument. Ne did most of our surveys from Mr.
Lametti's property and checked the elevations and all up on

.

to your property.
UR. DOEPNER : ';ihere did this 8 inch main end?
M1.. SHORT: Nhich home is yours?
MR. DOcPNER : Mine is the small cottage high on the hill.
M'l.. SHORT: How far from Lametti's?
M1.. DOEPNER : Three houses away.
/.it . SHOO T : .'Ire had anticipated coming to that low saddle
MR. DOEPNER : Hew far in from the lake?

.

/.~. SHORT: Approximately the location shown on the plan here.
MR. DOEPNER: Wouldn't that require the destruction of a large
number of trees? In acyuiring that easement would that be bought
from me?
~R. SHORT: That's a matter of policy from the Council. To
date the easements have been negotiated. I think in most cases a
waiver of trespass has been obtained.
~n. DOEPNER: Is my land regarded as unplatted?
