Engineer Lund <br />submitted a map showing the area. Clerk Lorraine Stromquist requested to <br />Invite the residents Involved to appear at the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGINEER LUND <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Sewer Assessment Hear~ <br />Trustee Hollenhorst moved the assessment <br />on County Road F be set for May 8, 1967; <br />carli-led. <br /> <br />hearing for service to two lots <br />seconded by Trustee Olmen; motton <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist to Inform Attorney Courtney of preceding action <br />on this matter. <br /> <br />Larson-Schacker Drainaqe Problem <br />Engineer Lund reported that the open ditch at Rldgewood and Glenhll I Road <br />is an anQua! complaint and suggested that the Councl I consider actIon at <br />this time. Messrs. Larson and Schacker had requested closing of this <br />ditch In /964 and, at that time, two plans were proposed at costs of <br />$1,555 and $2,000.00 Trustee Olmen informed the Council that last fall <br />the residents were willing to do thei,- own landscaping of the area If the <br />Village would Install the culvert. Matter referred to the Public Works <br />Committee for recommendation. <br /> <br />Telemeterlnq Service Procedures <br />Engineer Lund submitted to Clerk Lorraine Stromquist six copies of the <br />operatIon ot the telemeterlng system for the I ift stations, which Included <br />the steps to be taken when the aiarm sounds. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist submitted a list of names in the order In whl. <br />they are to be cal led In case of an emergency. The Council accepted the <br />lIst as submitted with the addition that Trustee Olmen be second on the <br />list; Fred Nixon being the first. <br /> <br />The procedures and list to be cal led is to be posted on the service panel <br />and also at the Ramsey County Patrol Station. <br /> <br />REPORT OF BUILDING INSPECTOR CLAY KELLEY <br />(given by Clerk Lorraine Stromquist) <br /> <br />Mr. Kel ley submitted a written report before the meeting; copies of this <br />were given to the Council members. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE HOLLENHORST <br /> <br />Apartment Request - Case No. 67-4 <br /> <br />Trustee Hol lenhorst reported that the Planning Commission has recommended <br />denial ot the request to construct a 234 apartment complex at the northwest <br />~orner of County Road E and New Brighton Road because the plans do not <br />..,ontorm to the standards of the ComprehensIve Development Plan. The plans <br />were presented to the Counci I; however, Paul and Frieda Anderson, the <br />appl icants, have requested the Council to delay action until the next <br />Counci I meeting. <br /> <br />REPORT OF TRUSTEE CREPEAU <br /> <br />4760 Hiqhway 8 - Cafe <br />Trustee Crepeau Informed the Council that the applicant for licenses to <br />operate this cafe would not be interested in any IIcens0s unless she were <br />granted the On and Off Sale Malt license; the Public Safety Committee <br />recommended denial of this license because of previous experIence at this <br />locatIon. Trustee Cropeau moved that the licenses requested by Mrs. <br />Antoinette Kessler for 4760 Highway 8 be denied; seconded by Trustee <br />Hollenhorst; motion carried. <br /> <br />SprinQ Clean Up Campaian <br />Trustee Crepeau statodfhat the entire Police Depclrtment will act as <br />liaison between the Comnlttee and the Council and cooperate with the <br />Committee. Don Gode wi I I be asked to be Chairman again. Clerk requested <br />to contact the New Brighton Bulletin and the Arden Association for <br />publicity. <br />
