This bi.d was for $4,646.00, less $850.00 <br /> . for the trade-in, for a net amount of $3,796.00. Counc i I man Crepeau <br /> explained that the bid this year included the installation of some <br /> of the options, which i n p rev i ous years were later additions. <br /> Councilman Crepeau moved that the coun ell accept the bid of Ron Saxon <br /> . Ford Co. in the amount of $3,796.00, for a new squad car, subject to <br /> the approval of Atty. Courtney; seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst, <br /> motion carried. <br /> Fire Protection Aqreeme n t <br /> Counci Iman Crepeau moved approval of the 1969 contract agreement for <br /> fire protection, with the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fi re Department for <br /> an amount of $7,920 - one-half to be paid in January and the balance <br /> in Ju I y, subject to the approval of the Atty. Courtney; seconded by <br /> Councilman Ho II enhorst; motion carried. <br /> Mutual Aid Agreement <br /> Counci Iman Crepeau moved approval .of the change in the original draft <br /> of the ~1utua I Aid Agreement whereby the words 11 f i rel' and "flood" <br /> are to be de!eted; subject to approval of Atty. Courtney; seconded <br /> by Counci Iman Hollenhorst; motion carried. <br /> 77th Annual Sheriff's Convention <br /> Counci Iman Crepeau attended this convention and reported that attendance <br /> at this convention was the largest to date. A workshop, instead of <br /> a social function was included, which he thought was a great step <br /> forward.
