Approval of building plans by Rulldlng Inspector Clay <br />Ke Iley. <br /> <br />Recommending that the Rul Iding Permit be issued prior to receipt of <br />the above Items so that construction can be commenced before frost, <br />It was moved by Councilman Crepeau that Council concur with the re- <br />commendations of the Planning Commission as stated by "r. Brodie and <br />outlined in the Planning Commission minutes of October 1, 1968; <br />seconded by Counci Iman Olmen; carried. <br /> <br />Case No. 68-36, Jerome Timm Variance, <br />i.'r-:--BrodTe-explained that "r, Timm, applicant for the variance, Is a <br />prospective purchasee of the property, pending the outcome of this <br />variance request. He explained that a previous variance may have been <br />granted to Mr, Wilsey, present owne~ of the property, br previous <br />construction on this site, The Planning Commission recommends approval <br />of this variance, as presented, subject to provisions possible <br />outlined in the previous variance which was available to the Planning <br />Commission, Mr. Wilsey state~ that a previous variance request had <br />been made but he did not believe a formal variance was filed with <br />the Village. Clerk offered to check this with the Village records. <br />Bulldlng inspector Clay Kel ley stated he felt this requested proposal <br />a definIte Improvement and therefore recommended approval. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Crepeau to approve the variance, as presented <br />on the plan; seconded by Councilman Olmen; carried. <br /> <br />Case No, 68-30, George Heckman Subdivision Variance <br />A-feffer-~-dafed September 3D, 1968, from Engineer Lund, was read by <br />Mr. Brodie In which Mr. Lund recommended that anyone building on this <br />newly developed lot, advise Banister Engineering Co, so they can <br />establish the proper grade for building; also that It may be diffIcult <br />to construct a driveway on this lot along the west edge because of the <br />rapid change In grade; that there does not appear to be any reason <br />that would render the lot unbui Idable, <br /> <br />~ Mr. Brodie advIsed that after review of the survey which was submitted, <br />It Is the recommendatIon of the Planning Commission that Council <br />approve the subdivIsion as presented, walving the subdivIsion re- <br />quirements; advising the applicant of the comments of the EngIneer <br />. regarding establishing proper grade and the possibility of the <br />difficult driveway situation; advising that a variance will not be <br />granted in the future for construction on this property. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Crepeau that Councl I concur with the <br />recommendations of the Planning Commission as outlined; seconded by <br />Counci Iman Olmen; carrIed. <br /> <br />~~~~~~_~L~~_~~C~L~g_~~t <br />Mr. Brodie advised that -the Planning Commission recommends approval <br />of the proposed purchase of the tot south of the Hockey rink for use <br />as a parking lot. <br /> <br />~!LLL!~_s~~~~~~!~_~L!~L~_~~t~~~~_~~q~LC~~~~!~ <br />Mr. Brodie advised that the Planning Commission recommends that <br />utIlity easements be Included as permltted encroachments within the <br />setback requlrements, Section 11, Paragraph 8 of the Zoning Ordinance, <br /> <br /> <br />- 4 - <br />
