The Attorney suggested <br /> the Clerk's staff provide hIm with data on ordinances whiCh have <br /> been repealed etc.; this will expedite attorney Courtney's codifica- <br /> tion of Village Ordinances. The Council suggested that the Ordinance <br /> Committee study existing ordinances possibly needing revision and <br /> also study proposed ordinances. <br />. Grudnoske Real Estate Purchase <br /> Attorney Courtney reviewed his letter of September 30. The Council <br /> directed Engineer Lund to prepare a legal description of the property <br />. and Attorney Courtney to prepare an earnest money contract for the <br /> Grudnoske rea I estate purchase. <br /> Krannack Damages <br /> Attorney Courtney was requested to secure an appraisal of the site <br /> from Mr. Bettendorf, cost of appraisal to be $150. <br /> Marcus Schmidt Easement <br /> Attorney Courtney reviewed his letter of September 9 on this ease- <br /> ment. Engineer Lund presented cost estimates of an alternate route <br /> for the water line. Councilman Crepeau moved that the Village Attorney <br /> proceed with condemnation on the Marcus Schmidt easement for Water <br /> Improvement 68-1 as per attached resolution. Seconded by Counc II man <br /> Hollenhorst, carried. <br /> Revised HouslnQ Policy <br /> Councilman Hollenhorst moved that the Revised Housing Polley be <br /> referred to Attorney Courtney for review, seconded by Councilman <br /> Crepeau, carried. <br /> McGee Truck Request <br /> Attorney Courtney reviewed the letter of September 27 from McGee <br /> Trucks, Inc. Councilman Olmen moved that Attorney Courtney prepare <br /> the statement agreeing to certain stipulations regarding delay i n <br /> truck delivery date due to strikes, etc. Seconded by Councilman <br /> Crepeau, carried. <br /> Sprlnkl~r Service Installation - Twin City Industrial Park <br /> Mr. CII ff Lund reported the fire I I ne In question, serv I ng two <br /> buildings, was Installed prior to Water Improvement 67-1. <br /> He Stated that the fire underwriters, VII fage of Rosevllle, and <br /> City of St. Paul permit this type of Installation, but the Arden <br /> Hills Water Ordinance may not. He also said Roberts Development <br /> would pay a $400 annual sprl nkler charge Instead of $200. Attorney <br /> Courtney requested Supervisor Beecher to write him concerning details <br /> of the Installation. The Village Attorney will advIse the Council <br /> on pOSSible violation of the Water Ordinance resulting from the <br />. fire II ne Installation. <br /> REPORT OF BUilDING' INSPECTOR CLAY KELLEY <br /> Ordinance Violation - Twin City Industrial Park <br />. Inspector Kelley reported some progress had been made and some curb <br /> and road repair and construction of Islands was Incomplete as of <br /> September 12. Mr. ell ff Lund stated rain had delayed them, but <br /> felt,that the area would be In required condition within a week <br /> or 10 days. Councilman Hollenhorst moved an extension of two weeks <br /> be granted Roberts Development on this project; seconded by Council- <br /> man Crepeau, carried. <br /> Cafe at 4760 Old HIQhway 8 <br /> Inspector Kelley reported: <br /> 1- The sewer on premises I s sound and workable <br /> 2. Cesspool Is In working condition <br /> 3.
