Attorney Courtney recommended that the Clerk check <br />with other municipalities for their action. Council requested Atty. <br />Courtney to send a letter to N.S~P., stating aur position. <br /> <br />Councilman Hollenhorst Informed the council that a meetln9 Is scheduled <br />for September 17, at 8:30 a.m. at the Ramsey County Court-House, <br />during which the N.S.P. matter Is to be discussed. <br /> <br />Griffis Easement Matter <br />OTscusslon-was-held-regarding the placement of a lIght Industrial <br />building on the Griffis property. There are several easements on <br />the property which are causing a setback problem. <br /> <br />Attorney Courtney will write a letter to the village regarding the <br />regulations relative to easements. <br /> <br />Clerk Lorraine Stromquist submitted to Attorney Courtney a letter, <br />dated July 9, 1968, from Mr. Griffis and also a map showing the ease- <br />ments. <br /> <br />~!.2.~L~!!.l.L:.~.:..~_ St~~L~2.!:.(!" <br />In his letter, dated July 31, 1968, Attorney Courtney stated that <br />after discussing this matter with Engr. Roger Short, a recommendation <br />was made that Arden Hills not be included In this class suit. <br /> <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman Crepeau, that <br />Attorney Courtney draft a letter for the clerk's signature, Informing <br />the U.S. Federal Courts that Arden Hills does not have any Interest <br />In the suit; motion carried. <br /> <br />~c!!.dn2.~~~_Er.2.(!.~r.t~ <br />Councl I requested Attorney Courtney to contact Mr. Grudnoske's attorney <br />to discuss a purchase price of $25,000, less the cost of essential <br />repairs, such as the well and furnace. <br /> <br />Rosevllle-St. Paul Sewer Contract <br />AttY:--Courtney-stated-fhiit-he-fias written a letter, dated Sept. 6, 1968, <br />to Rosevllle stating the need for the exhibits 2 and 3 from St. Paul <br />before the contract can be considered, and, also, objecting to the <br />interest to be charged starting October I, 1968, since the complete <br />contract has not been available for study. <br /> <br />~!!.'!!.seL~!!.!L~Ltl.~~!!.~s.2.!!!'!!.!.tt~~_f.2.r._Ss.2.!!.2.'!!.l.s._Q.Q.Q.2.!:.t!!.!!.l.tl...._l.!!.s,. <br />Attonney Courtney had reviewed the application to the office of <br />Economic Committee, which stated that Arden HII Is would be Included <br />In the group's action, unless the village decided to take other <br />action.
