Cooncflman <br />Hollenhorst reported that the Plannlnq Commission recommends <br />approval of the warehouse proposal subject to: <br />I. Approval of drainage plans by Enqlneer Lund. <br />2. Approval of landscape plans by C. Dale. ( 6 copies <br />of revised landscape plans submitted by Mr. Cliff Lund.) <br />3. Receipt of a bond In an amount not to exceed twice <br />the cost of landscaping (amount to be determined by <br />Bldq. Inspector) (time limit for completion of land- <br />scaplnq to be determined by Council.) <br />4. FIfteen (15) additional parklnq spaces to be shown on <br />site plan. <br />5. Bulldlnq plans approval by Bulldlnq Inspector. <br />It was moved by Councilman Hollenhorst that Council approve the <br />warehouse plans In accordance with the Planninq Commission recom- <br />mendations of 8/6/68; seconded by Councilman E. Hollenhorst reported that the Board of Appeals and <br />Planning Commission recommend approval of this variance request: <br />determining that the road easement will probably never be utilized. <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved that the Council concur with the Board <br />of Appeals and Planning Commission recommendations of approval and <br />allow this variance as requested; seconded by CouncIlman E. Public Safety <br /> <br />Boa_1: J!..1l.d_~a-",:~r:. ..S.a.f.e.t.L.R~p.ort <br />Councilman Crepeau reported that adoption of an ordinance compatible <br />to both Roseville and Arden Hills would be necessary to adequately <br />police the lakes In this area. The matter was referred to the Pub- <br />lic Safety Committee for their recommendations at the next Council <br />Meeting of August 26, 1968. <br /> <br />Stowe Avenue Traffic Control <br />Councffman'-crepeau"reported that Stowe Avenue Is a County Road and <br />that a letter from Mr. Deane Anklan, County Enqlneer, dated 7/6/68, <br />determines that the reasonable and safe speed on Stowe Avenue, be- <br />tween New Briqhton Road and Lake Johanna Boulevard to be 30 m.p.h. <br />The Commissioner of Highways authorized posting of the proper speed <br />limit sl'lns. <br /> <br />Mutual Aid Pact <br />Counc-rlmall'Crepeau referred a mutual aid pact re civil defense, <br />policing, civil disobedience etc. to Attorney Salland for review. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
