Cooncflman Hollenhorst reported that the Plannlnq Commission recommends approval of the warehouse proposal subject to: I. Approval of drainage plans by Enqlneer Lund. 2. Approval of landscape plans by C. Dale. ( 6 copies of revised landscape plans submitted by Mr. Cliff Lund.) 3. Receipt of a bond In an amount not to exceed twice the cost of landscaping (amount to be determined by Bldq. Inspector) (time limit for completion of land- scaplnq to be determined by Council.) 4. FIfteen (15) additional parklnq spaces to be shown on site plan. 5. Bulldlnq plans approval by Bulldlnq Inspector. It was moved by Councilman Hollenhorst that Council approve the warehouse plans In accordance with the Planninq Commission recom- mendations of 8/6/68; seconded by Councilman E. Hollenhorst that Council concur with the recommendations of the Board of Appeals and the Planning Commis- sion of denial of the Sussel Company variance request; seconded by Councilman H. Hollenhorst reported that the Board of Appeals and Planning Commission recommend approval of this variance request: determining that the road easement will probably never be utilized. Councilman Hollenhorst moved that the Council concur with the Board of Appeals and Planning Commission recommendations of approval and allow this variance as requested; seconded by CouncIlman E. The matter was referred to the Pub- lic Safety Committee for their recommendations at the next Council Meeting of August 26, 1968. Stowe Avenue Traffic Control Councffman'-crepeau"reported that Stowe Avenue Is a County Road and that a letter from Mr. Deane Anklan, County Enqlneer, dated 7/6/68, determines that the reasonable and safe speed on Stowe Avenue, be- tween New Briqhton Road and Lake Johanna Boulevard to be 30 m.p.h. The Commissioner of Highways authorized posting of the proper speed limit sl'lns. Mutual Aid Pact Counc-rlmall'Crepeau referred a mutual aid pact re civil defense, policing, civil disobedience etc. to Attorney Salland for review. -3-
