Sunn&s., ]324 Johan"a Blvd.. fa ccn.truc~ a t~o <br />C~r ga~.g~; seCDnaea ~y Counei Iman Glmen; motion carried. <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />Case No. 68-11, Fence Variance <br />Councilman Hollenho~st moved approval, as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission, of Calvin Westphal's request to Install a <br />screening type fence at 3264 Lake Johanna Blvd., subject to the <br />provision that the front 15 ft. of the fence wi I I be removed at <br />the vi I lage's request when the garage on the adjacent property Is <br />removed; seconded by Councilman Crepeau; motion carried. <br /> <br />Case No. 68-6, Li v-A-Snaps, Inc. <br />Motion by Councl Iman Hollenhorst, seconded by Councilman Crepeau, <br />that a building permit be approved for issuance to Llv-A-Snaps, <br />Inc., subject to approval of the drainage by Engineer Lund and the <br />submission of a revised plan showing the paved parking, bumper <br />curbs, driveway areas and curbing; motion carried. <br /> <br />Building Permit - Bethel College <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved approval, as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission, of the issuance of a building permit to allow <br />Bethel College to construct a storage shed on their property, <br />subject to submission of a revised site plan to the Planning Com- <br />mission showing the location of the shed; seconded by Councilman <br />Crepeau; motion carried. Clerk requested to inform Bethel College <br />of the special Planning Commission meeting to be held Tuesday, <br />June 18, 1968. <br /> <br />Case No. 68-17, Nazareth Hall Addition <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved approval, as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission, of the granting of a building permit to <br />Nazareth Hal I for the construction of a stairwell; seconded by <br />Councilman Crepeau; motion carried. <br /> <br />Ramsey County Library Plans <br />Councilman Hollenhorst reported that the Planning Commission recom- <br />mends approval of these plans as submitted. <br /> <br />Twin City Industrial Park <br />CounCilman Hollenhorst reported violatIons of the Zoning OrdInance <br />by property owners in this industrial park; .these were discussed <br />by the Planning Commission and they recommended that legal action <br />be taken. The Planning Commission recommended that a Polaroid <br />Camera be made available for use by the Building Inspector, Parks <br />and Recreation Commission, and the Board of Appeals. Councilman <br />Crepeau informed the counci I that the Police Department has a <br />Polaroid camera, which is available to village committees and <br />inspectors for taking pictures of violations, unsatisfactory <br />housekee~l"g, etc. <br /> <br />.- <br /> <br />Council requested Building Inspector Clay Kelley to submit a report <br />on this matter to Attorney Courtney and also the matter of a ware- <br />house being occupied without a Certificate of Occupancy. Council <br />requested Attorney Courtney to Initiate action against the violators <br />after Investigation. <br /> <br />Building Code Amendment <br />The Planning Commission recommended approval of the draft of <br />Ordinance No. 83, the Building Code Amendment, as submitted by <br />Attorney Courtney, subject to minor changes.
