Inc. <br />Attorney Courtney reported that since he does not have the <br />necessary ownership report, the Public Hearing wll I have to <br />be scheduled for a later date. Councilman Hollenhorst moved <br />that the Public Hearing be re-scheduled for June 24, 1968 at <br />8:00 p, m. instead of June 10, 1968. Seconded by Councilman <br />Crepeau, carried. (Banister Engineering Company to furnish <br />ownership report) <br /> <br />Johanna Drainage Matter <br />Attorney Courtney reviewed a letter from County Engineer <br />Deane ^nklan Indicating that the County would participate <br />under conOI~lon outlined In letter. <br /> <br />CouncIlman Crepeau moved approval ~f the resolution as <br />attached, seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst, carried. <br /> <br />Sh I fsky Property <br />Matter pending since Mr, Shlfsky and Attorney Courtney have <br />not been able to arrange a meeting date. <br /> <br />Water Improvement 68-1 <br />Attorney Courtney reported that the four copies of contract on <br />Improvement 68-1 were ready for execution. Councilman <br />Hol lenhorst moved approval of execution ~f the contract with <br />Northern Contracting Company for Water i~~rovement 68-1, <br />seconded by Coucllman Henderson, carried. <br /> <br />Human Rights Ordinance <br />Councilman Hollenhorst m9ved adoption of the Ordinance. <br />Establishing A Human Rights Commission and Providing For its <br />Duties and ResponSibilities, as amended on May 13, 1968, and <br />waived the third reading. Seconded by Councilman Crepeau, <br />carried. Attorney Courtney wi I I prepare the Ordinance for <br />publication. <br /> <br />Mavor RJorndahl reported that the Arden Hills League of Women <br />Voters submitted a list of members Interested In serving on <br />~he ~ommlsslon. Roger Reiling stated he would provide a list <br />of Interested J,C,'s within the next few days. Selection of <br />residents to serve on the Human Rights Commission was deferred <br />to the Regular Council Meeting of June 10, 1968, <br /> <br />Healy Plumbing and Heating Company <br />Engineer Lund reported that the name of this firm has been <br />changed to Healy Mechanical Contractors, Inc. and that the <br />Village has a contract with them under the former n~me, <br />Attorney Courtney advised that since It was ~~~ft~~h'e with <br />the firm, checks be made payable to Healy Plumbing and Heating <br />Company. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGINEER LUND <br /> <br />Joint Well Request of Hendrickson - Salmela <br />Clerk Stromquist read a letter from Banister Engineering, <br />dated 5-27-68, requesting more specific Information about the <br />actual pump being used, depth of Its setting In the well, etc. <br /> <br />Clerk Stromquist also read a letter from Maintenance Super- <br />visor Everett Beecher on the matter. <br /> <br />The Council requested Clerk Stromquist to inform Mr. Hendrickson <br />& Mr. Salmela of the need for additional Information, and to <br />send copies of the Banister Engineering letter to them. <br /> <br />- 2 - <br />
