<br />.. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Coyn<;11 Minutes - ^:>r'l 29, 1968 - continued <br /> <br />Page four <br /> <br />Equipment StoraQe <br />Attorney Courtney Informed the Council that a Special Use Permit <br />Is necessary to use property for equipment storage If such property <br />Is zoned residential. <br /> <br />REPORT OF ENGINEER DONALD LUND <br /> <br />Water improvement 68-3, Feasibility Report <br />Engineer Lund reported that signatures representing over 35% of the <br />property owners were on the petitions submitted for Water Areas I <br />and 2, A feasibility report, dated 4/24/68 was prepared and submitted <br />by Engineer Lund with an estimated cost of $563,640.00; this Improve- <br />ment will consist of approximately 415 connections. <br /> <br />Councilman Crepeau moved the adoption of a resolution, as attached, <br />approving Engineer's preliminary report and providing for public <br />hearing on Water Improvement 68-3; seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst <br />motion carried, <br /> <br />Said hearing to be held on May 23, 1968, at 8:00 p.m., In the Little <br />Theater section of the Mounds View High School. <br /> <br />Bethel ColleQe - Water Feasibility Report <br />Engineer Lund submitted a feasibility report, dated April 24, 1968, <br />with a map showing the proposed construction. <br /> <br />Councilman Hollenhorst moved that this project become a change order <br />to Water Improvement 67-1 If Attorney Courtney can obtain a waiver <br />from Bethel College to allow Arden Hills to assess the College for <br />the service: seconded by Councilman Crepeau: motion carried. <br /> <br />Oak and Pascal Water Improvement <br />Engineer Lund reported an estimated cost of $32,200.00 for construc- <br />tion of water service for Oak Avenue and $7,350.00 for Pascal Avenue. <br />Copies of this report will be sent by Engineer Lund to the Council. <br />These two streets are already Included In the contract for Improve- <br />ment 68-1. Councilman <br />Olmen moved that Banister Engineering Co. be requested to prepare <br />a feasibility report for Water Area No.5; seconded by Councilman <br />Hollenhorst; motion carrled..~ ~_. <br /> <br />Water Area No.4 <br />Mayor BJorndahl requested Banister Engineering Company to figure <br />the cost of this area Improvement wIth and without laterals. <br /> <br />VIllaQe Hall Traffic Control <br />Engineer Lund received a letter, dated April 26, 1968, (copy to Clerk) <br />from the Highway Department refusing consideration of a crossroad <br />to allow cars from the Village Hall parkIng lot to cross over to <br />the westbound lane of Highway 96, <br /> <br />Meter Reactivation <br />Engineer Lund Informed the Council that he will have a report on <br />this matter after he has studied a letter, dated April 26, 1968, <br />concerning the matter from Northwestern Power Equipment Co., Inc. <br /> <br />Sewer Service Request - Llv-A-Snaps <br />Engineer Lund Informed the Council of a request from Mr. DeCoster <br />for sewer service for the Llv-A-Snaps Building to be constructed. <br />Engineer Lund stated that sewer service Is available, but construction <br />will have to go through private property.
