Variance Request Councilman Hollenhorst moved approval, as recommended by the Plan- ning Conmisslon, of the variance request from Miss Jarl Wicker, 3248 Sandeen Road, to construct an addition to the present dwelling, as snown of the plans presented to the Planning CommissIon on April 2, 1968; seconded by Councilman Crepeau; motion carried. Case No. 58-7. Bethel ColleQe Councilman Hollenhorst moved approval, as recommended by the Planning Commission, that building permits be Issued to allow Bethel College to construct two buildings for married student housing, subject to approval of building plans by Inspector Kelley; subject to approval of landscape plan by C. Dale, Midwest Planning and Research, Inc.; and subject to a letter from Bethel College assuring completion of approved landscape plans for ail five buildings wIthin the 12 month period following completion of thes. two buIldings; seconded by Councilman Crepeau; motion carried. Case No. 68-9, Special Use Permit Councilman Hollenhorst Informed the Council that plans for a multiple dwelling proposed for the County Road E and Snelling Avenue area, and submitted by Mr. W. F. Stepnltz, were not adequate. The Plan- ning Commission offered suggestions to Mr. Stepnltz for procedure. Case No. 67-14, Skelly 011 Station Councilman Hollenhorst informed the Council of the Planning Commis- sion's recommendation of approval of the construction of this station at Lexington and Red Fox Road, subject to five conditions. There was much discussion between the Council. Roger Reiling, 3151 Johanna Blvd., and George Reiling, owner ot property formerly the site of the Circle S. Ranch. The request for a left turn lane for N.W. bound traffic on Highway 10 at entrance of Big Ten and Twin City Trailer P~rk was granted. -4-
